Frequently Asked Questions About Your Annual Pension Statement

• I have not received my Annual Pension Statement

  We mailed your 2022 Annual Pension Statement on June 16, 2023.

  You will not receive an Annual Pension Statement if you are a new member who joined the Plan after December 2022 or your first pay was issued after December 2022.

• Why does my APS show my marital status as NOT AVAILABLE?

  If your statement lists your marital status as NOT AVAILABLE, it means you have not verified and/or updated your personal Pension Plan information on My HEB Online Services.

  To provide your correct marital status:

  • Visit hebmanitoba.ca and log in to My HEB Online Services
  • Click on Member Update toward the right-hand side of the navigation bar
  • Navigate to Marital Info and enter your correct information
  • After you have completed the update, a Member Information Summary will be mailed to you. Confirm that the information is correct by signing and returning the form to HEB Manitoba in the postage-paid envelope we provided.

  Your update will not be confirmed until we receive the signed Member Information Summary from you.

• Why does my APS show my marital status as UNCOMFIRMED?

  Updating your marital status is a two-step process:

  1. Update your information online through My HEB Online Services AND
  2. Sign and return the Member Information Summary to us in the mail.

  If your statement lists your marital status as UNCOMFIRMED it means you have completed the first part of the process by updating your information on My HEB Online Services, but we have not yet received your Member Information Summary.

  • If you have recently mailed your Member Information Summary to us, we probably did not receive it before the Annual Pension Statements were printed.
  • If you have not yet mailed your Member Information Summary, please sign it and return it to us as soon as possible in the postage-paid envelope we provided.
  • If you do not have your Member Information Summary, please email us at info@hebmanitoba.ca or phone us at 204-942-6591 or toll-free at 1-888-842-4233 (outside Winnipeg).
  • When you receive your Member Information Summary in the mail, please sign it and mail it back to us in the postage-paid envelope we provided.

  Your update will not be confirmed until we receive the signed Member Information Summary from you.

• Why does my APS show my beneficiary information as NOT AVAILABLE?

• Why has the information on my Annual Pension Statement changed from last year’s statement?

  HEB Manitoba places great importance on the accuracy of information we rely on to administer your pension and benefit plans.

  We continually review member data and correct any identified errors or issues.

  These corrections may have resulted in changes to your retirement date and/or pension payment amounts, as reflected in your Annual Pension Statement.
