Recently Experienced an Employment Change?
If you have recently experienced an employment change with a HEB Employer, processing at our end might take a bit longer than usual while we complete the transition to our new Benefits administration system and enhanced member portal.
Deadlines have been extended to ensure you will not be disadvantaged due to the transition. Any package you receive from us will include your deadline date.
IF YOU...
Have Been Newly Hired by a Participating Employer
- Watch for an email from us inviting you to register for the new member portal where you can complete your enrolment in your HEB Plans.
- If we don't have your email address, we'll send you a paper enrolment package. You will still have the option to use the member portal to complete your enrolments (SO much faster and easier than paper!).
Recently Started an Unpaid Leave of Absence
- If you recently started an unpaid Leave of Absence and your employer did not provide you with prepayment forms to complete, watch your postal mailbox for a Leave of Absence package from us.
- You will have the option to complete the paper forms and mail them back to us, or simply use the member portal (much faster and easier than paper - plus you can set up your Benefits prepayments online!)
