2019 COLA Plan Payment to Retired Members

Dec 18, 2018
COLA Plan payments will be made January 1, 2019.

On January 1, 2019 the Healthcare Employees’ Pension Plan Cost of Living Adjustment Plan (HEPP COLA) will make a payment to retired HEPP members who have been receiving pension payments for at least 12 months.

The HEPP COLA was established in 2010 to help lessen the impact of increases in the cost of living for retired members. Payments into the COLA Plan began in 2014 and the first payment to retirees was on April 1, 2018.

All future COLA payments, subject to approval by the COLA Plan Board of Trustees, will occur in January of a given year.
