Retroactive Wage Adjustments and Your HEB Manitoba Pension or Disability & Rehabilitation Plan Benefits

The process to recalculate your pension or D&R Benefit is automatic and there is no action required by you.

If you receive a retroactive wage adjustment, it is processed by your employer and the information sent to HEB Manitoba. Retroactive wage adjustments will be applied to all pensionable earnings and are applicable to eligible retired, terminated and deferred members.  

Retroactive wage adjustments will be applied to all Disability & Rehabilitation (D&R) insurable earnings for members applying for or in receipt of D&R Benefits. If the effective date of the retroactive wage adjustment is on or before your Last Day Worked, your monthly D&R Benefit amount will be recalculated and adjusted. If your disability claim has closed, and you no longer qualify for a disability benefit, you are not eligible for an adjustment. 

The process to recalculate your pension or D&R Benefit is automatic and there is no action required by you. These recalculations are processed in the order they are received.
