Annual Life Insurance Statement of Benefits

HEB Manitoba’s Life Insurance Plan reflects our commitment to competitive Life Insurance benefits that meet the needs of healthcare employees in Manitoba and their families. 

Once a year, we send all eligible active Plan members a Life Insurance Statement of Benefits, which is an overview of their current coverage and beneficiary designations.  

To receive a statement you must: 

  • Be in a full-time or part-time permanent, temporary or term position, and
  • Belong to an eligible union or group at a healthcare facility that participates in the Plan, and
  • Be under age 71.

Premium Increase Effective June 1, 2023

The Healthcare Employees’ Benefits Plan (HEBP) Board of Trustees has approved premium increases for the Healthcare & Dental Plans, effective June 1, 2023. 

Letters with more information were mailed to members participating in the plans on April 21.

Update on Government of Manitoba Centralized Investment Management Proposal
